About Alumni

Padmabhushan Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil is an up lifter, ascetic, and benevolent person who delivered the river of knowledge in education at each and every countryside area in western Maharashtra. On 3rd November 1958 Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil made announcement of establishment of a college of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha at Ramanandnagar. Anna’s announcement was the longest foresight of revelation. Ramanandnagar and its vicinity had seen industrial development but Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil’s vision was different; he detected its educational need the right time. He offered higher education to the students who were from hard-worker, farmer and laborers’ families deprived of education. This dream was realized in establishment of this college in June 1968. The well-wishers and philanthropists contributed at their best in establishment of the college: Swami Ramanand Bharati, Sundargiriji Maharaj, Shantanurao Kirloskar, B. B. Khot, P. D. Gune, Baburao Raoji Nalawade, Rambhau Pawar, D. L. Jadhav, Babasaheb Patil, K. N. Joshi, N. G, Tembe, Rasikbhai Shaha had their leadership priceless.

The college life is a part and parcel of every human being. So, we have unforgettable memories of college. The role of college was utmost important during the growth and development of our life and we have that affinity as well as every right to bear responsibility assigned to us in the interest of the college

Alumni share: It is the democratic feature of the parent institute that deserving alumni are nominated as the members of governing bodies at the central as well as local level. We have honor that alumni of the college are holding positions in different walks of life; a few of them are holding prestigious positions. They play a role of ambassador between the college and society on the one hand and between the college and the parent institute on the other. - Hon. Dr. Shivajirao Kadam, Vice-Chancellor of the Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Pune, was once a student of this campus, he studied in the Swami Ramanand Bharati Vidyalaya, a sister concerned school unit on the campus. Hon. Mr. Kakasaheb Patil, former M.L.A. of Nipani in Karnataka State, was the student of the department of History in this college. Mr. C. K. Salgar, Joint Secretary of Physical Education, Maharashtra State, Mr. Dhananjay Kshirsagar and Ms. Anjuman Mujavar, Dy. S. P. at Kalyan, Mumbai and Satara respectively, Mr. S. K. Suryawanshi, R.T.O. Jalgaon, and Mr. U. H. Surve, Deputy Chief Auditor, Maharashtra State were the students of this college.

A few alumni of the college are bearing prominent positions in the political picture of the region – Mr. J. K. Jadhav alias Bapu and Mr. Mahendrs alias Appa S. Lad. They are also bearing the memberships of the General Body and Coordination Committee of the parent institute and the C. D. C. of the college.

Mission and Goals

1. To establish friendly relationship among the students of college, exStudents and staff of the college.
2. To call alumni meets of the students, ex-Students and staff of the college on organising various workshops and seminars on social issues.
3. To increase membership rate of the Association to contribute for further qualitative growth of the college
4. To constitute the execution committee under the Association to meet expected objectives.
5. To collect contact details of the students for consolidating the association.

Rules and Regulations

1. Member should be qualified degree holder from this college.
2. Member should contribute in development of the college.
3. Member should not take adverse advantage of college in his or her own favour.
4. Organization of personal functions in the college will not be allowed.
5. Member should attend meets of the association.
6. Once being a member, he/she is advised to add new members in the association.
7. Member should be a person of commitment to society.
8. Member should give constructive suggestions whenever he or she attends various functions in the college.
9. Member should extend helping hand to the college in the time of unexpected or natural disasters

Expected Programmes

1. To organize various guidance programmes of ex-students for students of the college.
2. To organize alumni meets.
3. To help needy students by availing financial and educational help from the alumni association.
4. Guidance for various sports games to the students by the alumni.
5. Alumni of the college would motivate admission seeker students to prefer option of this college.
